How does this work??
Welcome to the first Auction for H.O.P.E.!!!
The auction will officially kick off on October 26th and run through November 2nd. Here's how it's going to go down:
General Donations:
If you would like to donate with/without participating in the auction,
please consider using the paypal button on the right sidebar or sending
check/cash to the address listed under the "contact" tab. Thank you so
much for your generous donation!
Listings: Each item will have its own listing post.
Categories:
There will be a clickable list of categories on the right sidebar.
When you click on a link, it will take you to all the sub-items in that
category. Listings: Each item will have its own listing post.
Bidding: 1) you may bid on an item by commenting on the individual listing post. A tutorial for how to bid can be found here. Please practice if you'd like! You must have a
valid email address in order for a bid to go through. This will be the
email address that we use to contact you if you should win an item.
This next part is both tricky and important: DO NOT log in with twitter,
facebook, etc. Instead, use "Pick a Name" and follow the directions to enter your email address. 2) Scroll up/down to make sure you are submitting the highest bid.
Winning: The best part! The
auction bidding will officially close at 10:00 PM on Saturday, November
2nd. Your post will have an official time stamp on it.
Payment:
if you win an item, payment will be made as a direct donation to
Raindrop Memories. Winners will receive email notification. You must
remit payment for your items within 72 hours of the email being sent.
You will receive online payment instructions within the email. If your
payment is not received within this specified time, the item will be
offered to the next highest bidder.
Shipping: Shipping cost is specified under each specific item/service.
